Creating a Community Where Every Pet Matters
See How You Can Help an Animal in Need Today

Dog and Cat Adoption

At AARF, we work to save as many pets as we can through our cat adoption rooms at AARF Pet Central and foster homes. We try our best to help the pets most in need. Once in our adoption program, a dog or cat has a lifetime of care until they are adopted. You can help by fostering, volunteering or donating.

About Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends

At Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, our mission is to create a community where every pet matters. We work tirelessly to rescue and care for homeless, abused, and neglected animals in our community and to help pets stay with the families who love them. Our approach to animal rescue is simple: we are trying to create a community where every pet matters. We work hard to provide our cats and dogs with the medical care, nutrition, and socialization they need to become happy and healthy pets.

We also offer community programs to help pets stay with the families that love them, including our Community Pet Food Pantry, wellness clinics and an active community TNR program.

AARF Pet Central

We know many organizations struggle to make ends meet. So, in 2011, we opened AARF Pet Central, which includes a pet supply store and all of the profits support our programs. Starting in 2017, the store profits cover ALL of the administrative costs of our organization, so every dollar you donate goes directly to programs.

AARF Pet Central is the best place in town to buy your dog and cat supplies! We offer a wide variety of healthy and affordable foods, fun and durable toys, tasty chews and treats and tons of good stuff for good pets. We strive to offer the best customer service while you shop for the best products at the best prices!
