Join us on Saturday, September 18, for 219: The Taste, a benefit to raise awareness and much-needed funds to address the pet overpopulation problem in Atlanta. The event will be held at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center on Briarcliff Road. The evening will feature 219 different tastes of food and drink, each representing one dog or cat who will have lost his or her life in a metro county shelter that day.

Although we are not usually a group to brag, we had to share this bit of information with all of you. We learned this week that we were named "Best Animal Rescue Organization" in the December issue of Atlanta Magazine! The honor appeared in the magazine’s Thrive category in the Best of Atlanta section, Atlanta Magazine’s annual salute to the finest people, places and things the city has to offer. We would like to say thank you to Atlanta Magazine and that we are thrilled and incredibly humbled by the award.
