Mei (which means "plum" for her purple sheen, is a 5 year old goofy and sweet pit bull. She was picked up as a stray in Cherokee County, but clearly "belonged" to someone at some point. She joined the AARF family on what was to be her last day at the shelter. We have no doubt that she has had several litters of puppies and her teeth are worn down, likely from chewing on a chain, but she's a girl who doesn't let her sad past get in the way of her sunny disposition. Mei (pronounced "May") would adore a home where she can be the cuddly lap dog (okay, big lap dog) that she has always aspired to be. Homes with kitties probably wouldn't be ideal. In order to get Mei started off on the right foot in a new home, AARF will provide 3 free training sessions with a certified trainer. Mei would excel in obedience training. She's already learning a lot from the folks at Lifeline while she's there. Don't you agree that this girl deserves the very best??
